This stunning exhibition brings together for the first time a collection of Ngāti Awa wāhine whose varied artworks draw on Ngāti Awa customs, values, practices and connections to the Pacific.
Update 22/08: Please note that our Kaitiaki Taonga / Collections Care Technician is unwell and isolating at home, so this workshop will be postponed until further notice. Museum staff will offer guided tours of the collections to anyone who turns up tomorrow, and will also take contact details and general object enquiries to be followed up.
